EMMA BUSCHLE | CEO
Emma is a senior studying both Advertising & Public Relations and Dance. After a semester with GrandPR as an Account Associate, she now serves as the firm's CEO for the 2023-2024 school year. Emma spent her summer as a PR intern for Lambert in downtown Grand Rapids, and after graduation she hopes to continue her career working for an integrated communications agency.
MaDDIE ZIMMERMAN | GVPRSSA President
Maddie is a senior pursuing a degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Maddie was recently elected GVPRSSA President for the 2023-2024 school year. This will be Maddie's second year in GrandPR serving as an Account Associate with an Emphasis in Design. Maddie spent her summer as a PR intern for Truscott Rossman and a Communications Intern for Perrigo. After graduation, Maddie hopes to pursue PR in the outdoor and environmental industry with companies such as Patagonia or The National Parks Services.
riley hohlbein | COO
Riley is a senior pursuing a degree in Advertising & Public Relations with a minor in Writing. This will be her second year with GrandPR, where she previously served as an Account Associate and now serves as the firm’s Chief Operations Officer. As she approaches the final stretch of her academic journey, Riley envisions herself on the corporate side of PR. Riley is passionate about purpose-driven work and is on the lookout for opportunities that align with this.
Dr. Adrienne Wallace | Faculty Advisor
Dr. Wallace is an associate professor at GVSU with a passion for student-to-professional development. In addition to advising GrandPR, she advises the Public Relations Student Society of America (PRSSA) chapter at GVSU, is president-elect of West Michigan PRSA, the membership chair of PRSA Educators Academy section, and a past chair of East Central District (PRSA). She also serves as the Digital Marketing Competition coach, Page Case Study Competition coach, and our Bateman faculty advisor. Dr. Wallace is a prolific author and conference presenter. She is also mother to rescue beagles, Rosie and Andy.
