Hey, everyone! My name is Trevor Bryan, and I’ll be GV PRSSA’s President for the 2018-2019 school year. I’m currently enrolled in my 5th year victory lap at GV with a major in Advertising & Public Relations and a minor in Sociology. After one year as a general member, and another year as VP of Chapter Development, I can’t imagine a better way to wrap up my final year with PRSSA. My heart’s aflutter with excitement and the omnipresent PR buzz!

This summer, I spent my time serving food, drinks, and looks at a local restaurant in my hometown Crystal Lake, Duke’s Alehouse and Kitchen. Aside from conserving cash like crazy, I’ve enjoyed Summer ‘18 with my full-time sidekick and part-time kitty, Lucious, as well as visiting with my friends and boyfriend.

Time in Crystal Lake might’ve been great, but I’m ready to hit the ground running in Allendale. My vision for the 2018-2019 year is simple: growth both inside and out. Looking in, I hope to see the Chapter grow in membership and fundraising, and I also look forward to seeing our newly sprouted Diversity Initiative blossom into a successful and powerful endeavor. Looking out, I hope to see PRSSA more vocal and present on our Grand Valley campus through both our Diversity Initiative and opportunities in partnership with the Office of Student Life. Another aspiration is to see GV PRSSA continue to make its mark nationally through attending the PRSSA National Conference in October and the impressive efforts of GrandPR.

PRSSA was the reason I was able to acclimate to college and campus life, and I’m so grateful to be given the opportunity to give back to the organization which has given me so much. I’m so excited to see where this year takes us together!

Trevor Bryan is embarking on his third year at Grand Valley, and he’s loved every minute of it. Trevor is an Advertising and Public Relations major with a Public Relations emphasis, and he’s also pursuing a Sociology minor. From PRSSA to GrandPR, the school has provided ample opportunity to explore his major. This year, Trevor’s efforts will be focused on serving PRSSA’s E-Board as the Chapter President. When Trevor isn’t tweeting up a storm or tearing up the PRSSA podcast, PR Hangover, he loves to decompress with friends and laugh the night away.
